New Fact Sheets available on Night Terrors
The Royal Children’s website has new fact sheets available on Night Terrors (night-time wakings), Bedtime problems (Preschool), Night waking (6-18 months), Childhood obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA), Sleep Walking and Night-time worries (school age children).

A practical guide to providing health care to adolescents in general practice, with strategies and practical steps that GPs can take being identified.
By Dr Melissa Kang and Peter Chown - A Joint Initiative of The Transcultural Mental Health Centre and NSW Centre for the Advancement of Adolescent Health, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Adolescent health problems are often complex and require a comprehensive, biopsychosocial approach. This Kit outlines the skills needed for working with the young person and their family, while addressing the developmental, cultural and environmental factors that influence their health status.
Each chapter in the kit begins with a Flashcard which summarises the key practice points for that particular chapter and assists easy referencing.

Kid’s health info (KHI) is the Royal Children’s Hospital website for medical information written for parents, carers, teachers, friends and family. Latest evidence-based information on the problems associated with asthma
Health professionals and people with asthma will shortly have access to a range of the latest evidence-based information on the problems associated with asthma, including allergies, pain relief, diet in early childhood and many other issues. The National Asthma Council, the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy and the National Asthma Reference Group have developed a series of information papers and brochures to assist people with asthma, their carers and health professionals, to better manage the condition and enjoy improved quality of life.
